Hurricane Katrina
Your task is help prepare New Orleans for the next strong hurricane. Hurricane Katrina hit the city pretty hard and it is up to you help prepare the people.
To gain a higher level you must give reasons for your advice e.g. Why should you board your windows up? Why should you listen to the radio?

Svalbard Blog
Your other KAT to complete, is to write a travel blog on a trip to Svalbard.
You are writing about a four day trip to this remote place. You should include: Weather and climate, the landscape such as glaciers, wildlife, the Aurora Borealis and appropriate activities such as skiing, sledging.

Niagara Falls
Your next KAT involves you writing a travel blog on the fantastic Niagara Falls. Your aim is to describe where they are and how they were formed using good geographical vocabulary that you have learned in your lessons.

My Trip Around the World
The first KAT can be the most difficult as you don't know how much detail to do the task in. Always read the instructions and advice on doing the KAT in your booklet.
Always include a map of the world for this KAT. You can then using shapes or a ruler, mark on your map, the six cities on each continent you are going to visit.
For each city you choose, locate it and find out some facts about the city such as population, weather, famous people
,sports teams. How you present your KAT's is generally up to you, but you must follow the instructions on how to achieve yout desired level.
