San Francisco Earthquake 1989

The write up of this will depend on your teacher. Some of you will have to write a report on the earthquake and some will have to write a script as a 911 operator. Both will need to show understanding of the following.

• The causes of the earthquake (Conservative Plate, San Andreas Fault, Plates sliding past...).
• The effects of the earthquake (buildings collapse, Bay Bridge collapsing, Cypress Highway...)
• To gain a higher level some ideas on preparing for the next big earthquake need to be included.
